Check out Zend Form 2.0 proposal

Matthew Weier O'Phinney published Zend Form 2.0 proposal more than a year ago, but only right now it is the time to start an active discussion about this component.

The main changes that are outlined in current proposal are:

•  Model-related logic and View-related logic should be separated, so we should have two layers: business (filtering, validation) and presentation (elements rendering, decoration).
  
• Simplify form decoration process to make it usable.
• Move localisation and translation to View layer.
